Xbox360 Xk3y Installation

Now using external media with the Xbox360 has never been simpler. The Xkey connects to the SATA bus inside the Xbox 360 and situates between the drive and the Xbox 360 motherboard. Xk3y is a technical system running embedded Linux that emulates the Xbox360 DVD drive. It Reades USB media with various file systems. The Xkey can update itself and other hardware via USB.

The remote is a simple yet stylish piece of hardware that features an OLED display with 3 buttons. It connects to the x360key motherboard via a high speed USB connection. The OLED and buttons are used to control various aspects of x360key. It is also used for browsing attached USB media devices and launching .iso files.

Here is the process we use for installing your Xk3Y:-

* Carefully we dismantle your Xbox360.
* We then remove your Xbox360 DVD drive and all removable components.
* The Xbox360 it's self is then cleaned of any dust build up.
* We then install the Xk3Y and all relevany cables.
* A copy of your dvd key is then inserted into the Xk3Y.
* The Xk3Y is then updated to the latest firmware.
* We then fully test the Xk3Y's functionallity.
* Carefully we re-assemble your Xbox360 and run stability tests.
* All information and files are supplied on a DVD.
